Enterprise 2.0 Knowledge Management – A Revolution of Knowledge in Three Parts
„In an economy where the only certainty is uncertainty, the one sure source of lasting competitive advantage is knowledge. “ (Ikujiro Nonaka)
| Part 1: The Wikipedia-Myth
In the past most knowledge management projects failed. Some even say that knowledge management is dead. But the success of social software raises hopes to revive the topic and bring it back on the companies’ agenda. But new tools are often deployed with old concepts – a strategy that will inescapably fail. |
|
| Part 2: People at the Center
The „new“ KM focuses mainly on people. It is no longer about reading the best documents, but more about finding the right contact person. Social software enables the creation of a new kind of transparent networks. Using its effects in daily work helps Lisa and Brad to find and work together. |
|
| Part 3: Getting Started
The successful implementation of Enterprise 2.0 requires the right cultural, technological and organizational conditions. This is where Web 2.0 ends and Enterprise 2.0 takes the spotlight: The right conditions have to be created actively. |

Hi Great work on this guys we are in the middle of implementing point solutions for Enterprise Web 2.0 in Mars. I would like to get in touch with you to discus how we could work together + reuse some of your ideas recommendation in my work, Thanks
Excellent presentation. In fact, it’s funny since I just wrote a post onto my blog in which I develop the same ideas but namely the one major central idea of my post <a href=” http://blog.analystik.ca/2009/03/25/gestion-des-connaissances-savoir-entreprise-20/ ” rel=”nofollow”>Gestion des Connaissances (SAVOIR) = Entreprise 2.0 </a> is that, in nature, Knowledge is fluid; it doesn’t go with structure and format and it mostly happens in informal environments and it almost always presents itself in an informal manner. That’s why Enterprise 2.0, which deploys an informal business environment based on 2.0 technologies (Social Media) which are, in turn, designed to create, capture and share unstructured contents in informal manners between Community users, gets better results than traditional KM tools to capture and share a business Knowledge. Even the great Tom Davenport recently agrees with this point of view in a kind of confession in favor of his old buddy Andrew McAfee.
Keep the good work, salut de Montréal,
Denis Paul

Superb work. Kudos to the team.
Thanks a lot for these very interesting set of presentations. They very well resemble our way of working on and thinking about knowledge management and social media as well (Our whitepapers are however still in Dutch only, so you did a very good job in translating these presentations in English!).
I would like to bring our “cookbook for social networking en knowledge management” to your attention, might be interesting for both yourself and the other readers. You can download it from:

Güten Tag!
My partner and I are preparing a presentation on E2.0 and were directed to your 3 powerpoints via a twitter tweet. We already had our outline in place, but found some of your slide ideas to fit our ideas, as is your design (LOTS of white space) in keeping with our website, as you can see for yourself. We want to honor your copyright and give you credit for your ideas. Therefore, may we give you credit for your ideas and inspiration in influencing our presentation? We are creating original slides and a unique order, and obviously, fewer slides… less than 30. Thanks for your consideration!
Thanks for knowledge sharing!
